Lead & Copper

On January 15th, 2021, the EPA published the National Primary Drinking Water Regulations: Lead and Copper Rule Revisions. These revisions will require changes to Lead and Copper sampling as well as a service line inventory for all systems subject to the Lead and Copper Rule. The regulation will go into effect and initial inventories are due October 16th, 2024.  The Rural Community Water District of Georgetown County has completed its inventory (link below) and has been found to be fully known and fully non lead.
